Tuscany

May 7 – 15, 2014

Tuscany is one of the world’s most beloved destinations, and for good reason: The wine, food, historic landmarks and art — oh, the art! — are second to none. China & the Yangtze River

Sept. 1 – 15, 2014

Explore Tiananmen Square, step inside the Forbidden City and experience the culture of the hutongs, Beijing’s mazelike streets lined with traditional courtyard residences. Walk along the ramparts of the Great Wall for a breathtaking view of it snaking over the surrounding hills. Marvel at the Terra Cotta Warriors: 8,000 life-size soldier replicas that have guarded the tomb of Qín Shi Huáng for 2,000 years. Feed the pandas and learn how breeders bathe and babysit them. Venture to Dazu County to see the colorful cliff carvings and rock statues from the Tang and Song dynasties. Board small boats to explore the soaring cliffs, thundering waterfalls and verdant bamboo groves of the Shennong Xi tributary. Walk along the Bund, Shanghai’s iconic waterfront, and stroll through the jasmine thickets of Yu Garden in the Old City.

Normandy, 70th Anniversary of D-Day

Oct. 6 – 14, 2014

Explore the heart of Normandy from the scenic port town of Honfleur with accommodations at the first-class Mercure Honfleur Hôtel.
